Faith & Life experiences are enhanced through conversation and discussion with other persons.  Current technology enables us to explore issues and ideas with many people through email and the use of the Internet.  Conflicting schedules do not always allow people to get together regularly for person-to-person dialogue around issues that relate to faith.  So we would like to provide opportunity for continuing faith discussion within our community.  This email discussion can be a place to respond to a sermon; share thoughts about issues raised for congregational discernment; explore ideas for new ministries; or talk about faith issues that we face daily in our lives.

In this online discussion group, you can share your ideas with a great many people at one time.  Members of a discussion group don't participate at the same time.  Members of a discussion group contribute messages when they feel like it - at a time convenient for them.  They can also read messages posted by other members of the group and can respond to comments if they wish.  These messages are automatically sent to the email address you provide.  No matter where a person lives, they can participate in these online discussions.  A posting from anywhere in the world appears within minutes.

To be a part of this discussion group send a blank email to harrowmennonite-subscribe@yahoogroups.ca  You will receive an email confirming your membership in our discussion group along with instructions on posting, reading and replying  to messages.  You can remove yourself from our group at any time.  

Common sense should guide you in your participation in this discussion group.  Direct, open communication is welcome.  Inappropriate language and gossiping is not welcome!  There are certain accepted rules and methods of communicating via email.  Please become familiar with these before you start posting or reading messages.  See the side bar on this page for more information.
