Missions Activities & Projects
Mission & service is a very important aspect of faith expression. Our connection to relief agencies such as Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) enable us to offer resources that will reach needy people all over the world. Some of the projects that we are currently supporting and have supported in the past are listed below:
Ten Thousand Villages craft sale @ the 2004 Harrow Fair
Our annual Crepe Supper provided great fruit
sauces to fill countless "German pancakes," along with plenty of
fellowship for everyone. We served 126 persons and raised a total of
$1030 to help support church and missions projects and the Harrow Youth
Centre. Thanks to everyone for your tremendous support of events
like this in our community! One-third of the funds raised from this
project will help support ministries in Korea as talked about in the story
above.
Project Home - Rebuild is a construction project for
an addition to the Leamington Mennonite Home. Our congregation is one
of the supporting churches for this exceptional long-term care and
retirement facility. Construction is scheduled to be completed by
December 2004.
2004 Harrow Growing Project - This year's project is a field
of winter wheat. More information...
