Peace has been an important aspect of Mennonite beliefs and life for centuries.  Starting over 500 years ago with the Anabaptist movement, Mennonites have faced persecution, imprisonment and death for their stance against violence.  As followers of Christ, we choose creative peacemaking activities in all of life.
